OUR SUSTAINABILITY MISSION

GRWN Sustainability Mission

GRWN doesn’t just stand for a better way to grow diamonds, it represents a commitment to sustainability that shows up in every part of our business—from our lab diamonds, all the way to our eco-conscious packaging.

Here are some ways our responsibility to take care of our home planet comes to life:

Eco-Friendly Diamonds:

Our diamonds are more than symbols of beauty; they’re our way of giving back to mother Earth. Made with compassion and precision, they use only renewable energy sources like solar and wind, minimizing our carbon footprint and preserving Earth’s resources.

Responsible Manufacturing:

Ethical sourcing and use of materials is more than a goal, it is our responsibility as a global leader in diamonds. So, whenever possible, we make our jewelry with recycled metals.

Conscious Packaging:

Our dedication to sustainability also takes shape in the form of packaging and accessories, which are made from recycled or eco-friendly materials whenever possible. This means every part of our product's life cycle, from creation to purchase, adheres to the highest standards of environmental responsibility.

Ethical Supply Chains:

Our supply chain is crafted with the same level of care as our jewelry. That means we prioritize things like climate, workforce equality and labor practices. It also means we work only with companies who adhere to,  are certified by, or subscribe to initiatives like Responsible Jewellery Council, Climate Neutral Now, Science-backed Targets, UN Women and SMETA.

A Global Leader:

Being on the forefront of global diamond creation means  working with a diversified supply chain that follows internationally recognized ISO standards, which may include those for quality management systems (ISO 9001), environmental management systems (ISO 14001), occupational health and safety management systems (ISO 45001), greenhouse gasses (ISO 14064), and sustainable procurement management. These standards guide our practices, ensuring that we meet (or exceed) global benchmarks for sustainability and ethical conduct.

These are just some of the ways our sustainable practices, ethical sourcing and social responsibility are reshaping the jewelry industry and giving back to the world.

GRWN SUNSTAINABILITY GOAL

There’s no denying it—human activity is having a significant impact on our planet.

That’s why we built our business model to prioritize the health and well-being of our planet. We believe it’s our responsibility as industry leaders to expedite the shift from fossil fuels and keep our planet shining for generations to come.

Our goal is to usher in a new generation of diamond consumers—thoughtful customers equipped with information and emboldened by the knowledge that their purchases have the power to change the world.

As an informed consumer (you’re doing your homework right now after all), you know that your choices can support critical environmental and social goals. That’s why we’re focused on earning the privilege of becoming your diamond provider, and even more, your newest lifestyle partner. Our goal is for every item we make to meet the highest standards and we won’t settle for anything less.

The luxury industry has a responsibility and significant role to play in addressing the climate crisis. Join us in taking a stand and supporting sustainable diamond creation.

GRWN VALUES

  • Motivation – striving for excellence, perseverance, and a drive to succeed
  • Respect – respect and appreciation for all life
  • Integrity – honesty, authenticity, accountability, and a thoughtful ethos
  • Responsibility – striving to improve quality of life for persons, communities, animals and the environment
  • Adaptability – embracing change and innovation, constantly evolving, and being inspired by innovation

At GRWN, diversity and inclusion are more than a commitment, they’re an understanding that varied perspectives lead to better outcomes for everyone. As such, any disrespect or discrimination is not tolerated. That philosophy applies to but is not limited to: ethnicity, gender, language, age, sexual orientations, religion, socio-economic status, physical and mental ability, thinking styles, experience, and education.

    GRWN’S SOCIAL STEWARDSHIP:

We take our role as a leader in the luxury lab-grown diamond jewelry market seriously. That means protecting the environment, having respect for human rights and partnering with companies who are making a positive impact.

Lab-grown diamonds are considered better for the environment than mined diamonds. Did you know mined diamonds use 7x more water, 2x more energy and generate a whopping 4,383x more waste? Additionally, most of our jewelry is made using recycled precious metals, we were one of the first jewelry companies to use plant-based leather and we work non-stop to improve the standards of our packaging.

And since GRWN sells only lab-grown diamonds, we can also proudly say our diamonds are 100% conflict-free.

We recognize that individual actions alone are not enough to address environmental and social stewardship. GRWN pledges to work collaboratively to promote sustainable practices and systemic change.
