EarthLung’s Mangrove restoration project
EarthLung’s Mangrove Restoration Project works to revive vital coastal ecosystems in Kenya while creating economic opportunities. Mangroves protect shorelines, support biodiversity, and absorb carbon, helping fight climate change. Due to urbanization and deforestation, 20–35% of global mangroves have been lost since 1980. Restoration involves replanting trees, rebuilding ecosystems, and engaging local communities. This effort improves coastal resilience, enhances livelihoods, and preserves essential natural resources.

The Burgos Wind Farm
The Burgos Wind Farm in the Philippines is one of Southeast Asia’s largest wind energy projects, generating 370GWh annually and offsetting 200,000 tonnes of CO2. Located north of Manila, it provides clean, renewable energy while creating stable jobs and promoting sustainability. The project upholds high standards for land, water, and noise, and works with local governments to educate communities on environmental protection and disaster preparedness. It also supports workforce development through training and university partnerships.

Coastal Kelp Restoration in Canada project
Coastal Kelp is restoring marine ecosystems in British Columbia through kelp seaforestation—planting and nurturing kelp forests to improve water quality, ocean health, and marine biodiversity. Kelp holds deep cultural and ecological significance for Indigenous communities like the shíshálh and Tsleil-Waututh, who have used it for food, medicine, and traditions. With over 40% of global kelp lost due to climate change, pollution, and overuse, this initiative helps revive vital ecosystems and protect Indigenous heritage.
