Aleali May Leads As Creative Director For GRWN Lab-Grown Diamond Brand

GRWN, a revolutionary lab-grown diamond and luxury jewelry brand, has officially launched, furthering a new chapter in luxury jewelry and precious stones. Co-founded by industry veteran Michael Pollak and son Jordan Pollak, sharing his marketing expertise with the company, GRWN aims to redefine luxury with its innovative and sustainable approach to jewelry.
With a new generation of styles influencing jewelry trends, the brand is spearheaded by Creative Director Aleali May, a notable figure in the streetwear scene and collaboration market. Prior experiences with iconic brands like Nike’s Jordan Brand have poised her to lead GRWN's creative vision. Her role will focus on steering the brand's aesthetic and spearheading unique co-branded capsule collections that align with modern luxury appetites.
May notes her initial encounters with GRWN, “First of all, Jordan and Michael reached out to me about being the creative director at GRWN, and through that, we've been a team of disruptors. Everything is changing, and we evolve with it, [but] how do we create products that represent this new generation of kid's style? We're challenging everything.”
“Accessories have always been a part of me getting dressed. Going back to being a young girl, but then, even more on the sentimental value of having jewelry passed down to me. The people who have followed my journey know my Jordan 14s [collaboration] are based on the jade pieces I received from my family members."
