Shaun Crawford is a multi-disciplinary artist from East Harlem, New York. With roots in graffiti, he specializes in painting, ink making, textile dyeing, and graphic design. Throughout his career he was garnered commercial success, working with Supreme, Givenchy, Arcteryx, Clarks, Nike, and New Balance. With each project he takes the opportunity to test new techniques to push the creative boundaries. His most recent solo show "This, That, and the Third" at Anthony Gallery featured paintings and hand embroidered works depicting Shaun's iconic character and self portrait "Skip". Inspired by his experience as a New Yorker, his work brings satirical humor to the hard realities of race and politics in America. Shaun is preparing for another solo show and continues to make commercial work both personally and with brands.
